Intermediate and Long Distance Workout
10 OH jumping split lunges (0-45lbs) plus 300m hard run
100m very slow walking rest b/t rounds
Workout Details: Walking lunges are a perfectly acceptable scale. However, the goal of this workout is to recruit your fast twitch muscles with the heavy overhead jumping split lunge ballistic movement and then force those fibers to go long. Take additional rest as needed. Insufficient rest will tun this workout into a slow twitch/aerobic workout and this is not the intended stimulus.
